Fall has been a warm one this year. So much that there has been a push pack on opening day for Keystone Resort. Keystone was initially set to open this Friday. Since it has been unseasonably warm, the ski resort will be pushing back their opening date, which is tentative, to November 11th.

“While Mother Nature has not made it easy for recent snowmaking operations, our team is ready to fire up the snow guns at every opportunity as weather gets cooler this week and next,” Mike Goar, who is Keystone Resort’s Chief Operating Officer, said in a statement on Tuesday via an article in the Denver Post.

This comes as sad news, but not really a surprise for skiers since the temps have stayed so high over the last month. But don't you worry, snow will be here before you know it.
