Jurors Reach Verdict in James Holmes Case

The verdict is in and the fate of James Holmes has been signed, sealed and delivered. Did they make the right choice?The mongrel who shot and killed 12 in the Aurora shooting several years ago has been was found guilty on 24 different counts.

The jurors deliberated for about 6 hours deciding the future for James Holmes and they have said it will be life in prison without parole. The nine women and three men couldn't reach a unanimous decision on the death penalty but did reject the insanity plea.

Is this fair?

I think not...by a long shot. We as taxpayers should not foot the bill for this mutt to live the rest of his life in prison with free everything. However, I am willing to bet he won't last long in general population so time will tell and perhaps justice will still be done.
