Here is Coach Hilbert of the CSU Rams Volleyball team accepting the 'Ice Bucket Challenge'.

Good thing he doesn't coach in California. Otherwise, he may have to pay a fine.

According to spoof news website The Daily Currant, the state of California is fining people for taking the Ice Bucket Challenge because they are wasting water during one of California's worst droughts in history.

“We're saving a lot of time since people are posting their crime directly to social media,” said Chip Masters, the president of the Department of Water and power. “One day, my entire Facebook feed was filled with these attention hungry morons pouring gallons of ice water over themselves. I couldn't believe it.

"I did the math and realized that thousands of gallons of water were being wasted, in the middle of one of the most terrible droughts California has seen in decades.”

Of course, the report is bogus. One could surmise that by the way he calls the people 'attention hungry morons', but in light of the drought, maybe Californians should consider not accepting the challenge, conserving the water, and paying the recommended $100, instead of the $10 that comes along with accepting the challenge.
