If You’re Not Making Any Mistakes, You’re Not Trying Anything New
Mistakes are inevitable. If we’re not making mistakes along the way, we’re not trying anything new. If we’re not trying anything new, we’re not growing. If we’re not growing, then what are we doing here? Mistakes are a necessary part of the process.
The right way to make a mistake is to immediately admit it, take ownership, learn from it, and correct it.
The wrong way is to be defensive, deflect blame, and repeat it.
And why would we be defensive anyway, we just agreed that mistakes are a necessary part of doing what we should be doing.
