The city of Fort Collins is looking for your assistance with some volunteer work in the month of September, and if you help out it could get you some free shopping downtown.

According to the Coloradoan, the city are looking for volunteers this month to help with it's annual bike count. Counting will take place on the following days and times:

  • September 17th (7-9am, 12p - 2p, and 5p - 7p)
  • September 19th (7-9am, 12p - 2p, and 5p - 7p)

If you would like to volunteer, you must attend the mandatory training session which is coming up this Thursday (September 10th) from 6p - 7p at the Streets Facility located at 625 Ninth Street.

Fort Collins is looking for at least 100 volunteers and will help out at 15 intersections and 11 trails that will be monitored. You can volunteer at multiple locations.

If you volunteer and complete your shift, you'll also be entered into a drawing for a Downtown Business Association gift card.
