Last night (Dec.28) was a big night for the Denver Broncos because football and whatever. I'm not even going to act like I know what I'm talking about. I do know, however, the Mile High's own Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats performed the national anthem, and if you're like, 'Son of a bitch, I missed it!', I'll catch you up here.

I see what you're doing, Denver Broncos. The one way to get people who hate football to tune in to your game is to get an act like Nathaniel Rateliff to do the national anthem. There was even a viewing party hosted by the Hi-Dive Denver, the most hipster bar to ever be a hipster bar on Broadway.

That tactic worked here at the station, where Mollie and I are notorious football haters, but we love Nathaniel Rateliff. (We actually use a filter on our Facebook feed that blocks any football-related posts with GIFS of cats and Ryan Gosling.)

So, quick recap: Nathaniel Rateliff sang 'The Star-Spangled Banner,' it was awesome, some guys threw a ball around, it was whatever, and 'Hey girl, if you're a bird, I'm a bird.'

Also, I think the Broncos might have won or something.

In case you missed it, you can see it here (without the sports - yay!).

P.S. - Have you heard this one yet?
