Sending your valentine through Loveland, Colorado is easy, and your loved one will love the fact that you were thoughtful enough to spend the time doing it!

Just follow the easy steps in this how-to photo.

Really, when it comes down to all you have to do is follow the first two steps.

1. Put your Valentine in an envelope that is pre-addressed and pre-stamped.

2. Then put it in another envelope, and mail it to Postmaster - Attention Valentines
446 E. 29th St.
Loveland, CO 80538-9998

That's all you have to do. The 50 or so volunteers that spend hours lovingly stamping the special messages from Loveland and processing the tons of mail that comes in take care of the rest.

They will make sure that each gets the special stamp with the cachet that is selected each year.

This year's verse is simple and beautiful.

"With hat atilt and cheeks aglow,

Dan Cupid draws his golden bow.

He sends his arrow straight and true,

With Loveland's love from me to you"

The 2015 cachet that will adorn all 130,000 valentines that come through Loveland’s Valentine Re-Mailing Program was designed by Corry McDowell and the cachet verse was written by Susan Burton. The cachet includes an image of Dan Cupid at Lake Loveland.

This special program also has the Valentine program with local coffeemakers and beer brewers to create special one-of-a-kind brews for the season. The beer, created by Grimm Brothers Brewing, is only available at select restaurants and liquor stores in Loveland.
