It's not as simple as 'eat this much, burn this much'.

Metabolisms react to the amount of food that we put into our bodies, and there is a base amount that we require just to do what we do throughout the day.

Often, people will calculate the amount of calories (so easy to do with apps we've discussed in the past) they eat, and compare that to the amount they burn, or don't burn. That is fine, but it's important to remember that we burn calories just living our lives.

I burn about 2,000 calories per day just being Paul. That's without working out.
