How To Find Out Recall Information
There are a few websites that can help you find if your product has been recalled.
The last thing we want to do is drive around in a car with bad brakes, or eat peanut butter contaminated with something like salmonella.
We posted a recent story about peanut butter recalls, and a complete list of the brands. However, if you didn’t see that, but heard something about it and wanted to later look at it, it’s available through the recall website. I found it with no problem by checking out the catch all website is recalls.gov and it will take you to various, more specialized sites for specific items, like foodsafety.gov for foods and safercar.gov for auto recalls.
