How Long Should Maternity Leave Be? [POLL]

As a fresh parent, I can see how three months of maternity leave isn't quite enough.

When President Obama remarked that 1 in 4 women go back to work two weeks after giving birth, it made me cringe. I couldn't have pictured that. At two weeks old, my wife wasn't nearly healed from the birth, and we were a mess.

I had to go back to work at that point, but even I could have been very helpful were I allowed to spend more time at home.

So, if he plans to do something to give parents a bit more relief, I am all for it.
