The Denver Broncos have had their share of highs and lows over the past few seasons, resulting in both excitement and anger for fans – especially the latter as of lately. But has this had any impact on the amount of fans choosing to go to games?

Based on stats from ESPN, with an average of 76,738 people, Sports Authority Field at Mile High has the 6th highest attendance rate for the 2017 season thus far. The Broncos have actually held the number six spot pretty consistently over the past five seasons, with the exception of 2012 and 2015, when they moved up to 5th on the list. That being said, although it's not a drastic drop, the average rate of attendance at Broncos games has definitely gone down when looking at the total numbers throughout the last several seasons.

Over the past five years, AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, has maintained the highest game-day attendance average, with around 92,000 fans at each game. They are followed by the Giants at MetLife Stadium, who over the same span of time, have had the second most fans coming to games every NFL season except for the current one.
