Madison Square Garden is going to be bringing a lot of concerts to the Forum in Southern California, and they are kicking things off in a huge way. Really huge. With a vinyl record replica of the Eagles Hotel California that actually spins, is actually vinyl, and can be seen by the masses of people that fly in and out of LAX everyday.

The Eagles replica record is 407 feet in diameter, spins at 17 miles per hour, and was a massive feat of engineering. 250,000 square feet of vinyl was used to make the structure on top of the structure, that, since it weighs thousands of tons, had to be designed very carefully, lest it crush the structure beneath.
