On October 28, hop aboard the Hogwarts Express and head to the Northside Aztlan Community Center for a Harry Potter-themed Hogwarts Halloween celebration. From 6-9 p.m., wizards and witches in kindergarten through eighth grade can take part in all kinds of magical activities, while also exploring the haunted hallways of Hogwarts. Guests will have the chance to get “sorted” into a house, create special potions and charms, sample some Butter Beer (non-alcoholic) and other mystical treats, and even try out their Quidditch skills. Don’t forget to come dressed in your best cloaks and robes! Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online, or by calling 970-221-6655.

Volunteers are also needed to help out at Hogwarts Halloween. They are seeking wizards to instruct magical classes, pour butter beer, supervise Quidditch, act as magical characters, and decorate Hogwarts. For more information, contact Lisa Freeman at lfreeman@fcgov.com.
