If you are planning a trip to our neck of the woods today, Windsor, you may want to either reschedule or come up with an alternate route to the commonly traveled Main Street (Highway 392). The milling and repaving project will continue in Windsor today with some major closures most likely causing delays in travel.

From Nicki Upright at the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT):

Today we will be closing SH 392 from CR 13 to CR 3 for milling.  We are taking 4.5” out in this area.  The closure starts at 5:30am and goes until 5:30pm.  A detour is in place.  This is the start of phase II and it should take approximately 3 weeks.

We will also be paving in Windsor starting at 7th Street and going west on the inside (passing) lane.  Paving should finish in town tomorrow.
