I don't know about you, but I was always a doodler in class, especially in my college lectures. Did you know that what you scribble down can actually tell a lot about your personality? Well, according to Ruth Rostron (who is like a handwriting expert), it can.

Rostron published an article as an introduction to the book, 'National Doodle Day – Celebrating five years of Celebrity Doodling.' I decided to use her analysis as my guide to learning more about myself, and the people I work with. Here are my results:

Kelsey - Digital Contributor

Kelsey, a digital contributor, is an emotional person. She also used the color green, which Rostron associates with 'natural renewal and change, relaxation, dissatisfaction and growth.' Kelsey is pretty laid back and earthy, so this makes sense.

Madi, our Digital Managing Editor is also emotional. She drew flowers, a sun and fluffy clouds. She even drew a bee, probably because she got stung on the hand and it was really swollen, making the doodle task a challenge. Thanks, trooper. You rool.

I fall in the emotional category as well. I also have a talent for drawing mermaids. The lightning strikes and zig zags indicate that I need an outlet for my energy.

Paul - TRI-102.5

Paul, a host from our sister station, TRI-102.5, drew music notes and what looks like his wife, Sarah, and their baby, Huck. (Awwwww) Paul's doodle also has a boat, which Rostron says is a 'masculine symbol' often drawn by 'determined people who need an outlet for their mental and physical energy. (I mean, he hosts a morning show, he has to have energy.)

Cain - 94.3 The X

Cain from afternoons on 94.3 The X's doodle also had themes of people and music (Alice in Chains?). Sweet boombox!

Lil Joe - 99.9 The Point

Lil Joe from 99.9 The Point drew some kind of 90s cartoon wiener dog (with condiments) on a skateboard. Uh...

Mollie - 94.3 The X

And then there was Mollie. (I think those are Taylor Swift lyrics.)

What do your doodles say about YOU?
