This week on Healthy Reminders I'm giving you the opportunity to join my team.

This week's featured activity is a HIIT workout, or H-igh I-ntensity I-nterval T-raining, because that is the format many group workouts are following. They are short, intense, full body rampages that can turn you into jelly in less than 30 minutes.

When I say you can join my team, I am referring to the Team Challenge, and you literally can join me if you go to the website by the sign up date.

If you don't join my team, join a team. Being a part of a scheduled group workout can do so many things for you, for many reasons.

I am especially speaking to the person watching this that may be out of shape, and who hasn't exercised in months, years, or even decades.

It's not easy to start a workout program that will stick. The idea of joining an expensive fitness facility where you don't know your way around, you don't know anyone, you don't know what to do, and imagine that there will be only fit, good looking people walking around can be very intimidating.

Well, group workouts can take care of all of those problems.

Expensive? It can be, but group workouts bring you individualized attention for a much lower price.

Don't know your way around, or what to do? Group workouts take care of all those problems. Just be there, on time, ready to workout, and you will be directed all the way.

Don't know anyone? You will, by the end of the first session. By the end of the whole program you will probably have gained a few friends.

Fit and good looking people walking around? Not true. There are all types of people at fitness facilities. Also, judge not. You're going to be one of those people after a few group workouts.

  1. No guesswork. No thought. Show up and they'll tell you what to do. And it will be the right things for your fitness
  2. Extended programs guarantee results (if you put in the work)
  3. Group members become friends and motivators
  4. Money motivates you to follow through

That is why this week's Healthy Reminder is designed to encourage you to get back into shape by joining one of the many group exercise programs that are around you.

I'd love for you to join me for the Team Challenge at Miramont Lifestyle Fitness, but if that's not for you, I encourage you to find another one. Even if there is only a small part of you that is thinking "Yeah, this sounds good" you should try it because the experience will probably blow you away!

Thanks for joining me for another Healthy Reminder. Subscribe to our YouTube Channel to make sure you see all of them, and let me know what you think, any questions you may have or topics you'd want me to cover.
