Gas prices continue to drop around Northern Colorado, which considering the time of year it definitely helps the bottom of your pockets especially if you are heading on a road trip this week!

Look at it this way: The price of gasoline has dropped for 89 consecutive days which is the longest on record according to AAA. And forecasters don't foresee any end to the free fall, especially here in Northern Colorado. They're actually saying that gas prices probably won't bottom out until mid-January!

Driving around Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley the past two weeks, it has been amazing to see how quick the prices have dropped. Think about this...Thanksgiving week most of us were still paying above $3.00/gallon. Here we are with Christmas week...and you can easily get gas for $2.20/gallon. In some cases, it is LESS than $2!

If you're heading on a road trip and need some help in finding cheap gas prices, my favorite website to look at is Gas Buddy. The link here will direct you right to the prices here in Northern Colorado. Safe travels on your road trip this week...and take that money you're saving and put it toward something for yourself!
