Happy 50th Birthday to Jon Bon Jovi [VIDEO]

For 27 of his 50 years, Jon Bon Jovi has been known as the front man for the band Bon Jovi, but the New Jersey native is also a husband, father of four, and a good guy. But, years of being a rock star and family man doesn't mean Bon Jovi has slowed down just because he is 50. Touring with the band, movies, charities, and owning restaurants are still a part of his now half century old life. 

Jon Bon Jovi talked about how much he values his health, longevity and the experiences he had in his 40s:

You're never going to see the fat Elvis in me. People I admired like Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and John Belushi all died at 27. I've got jeans older than that. Between the ages of 42 and 48 has given me some of my greatest memories yet. When I look at my peers Bob Dylan, Jimmy Page, Bruce Springsteen, Bono -- they're all over 50 and still doing great. That's because they don't live the bull sh** or cliched rock star life. They survive on a great catalogue and new material. That's the team I want to play for.
