"Dancing Under the Stars" is set for Sunday, January 29th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Avenue. Melissa Lang, the Recreation Coordinator, says, “We started an adaptive recreation program in 2016 that included a yoga class, kids & horses (a program offered at the Colorado Therapy Horse Center), as well as a dance class, and we wanted to expand to offer a social gathering as well.”

The dance will be in the main gym at the Greeley Rec Center, and refreshments will be served. Tickets are just $2.50 per person. The Arc of Weld County is helping to sponsor the event and volunteers are needed. If you would like to volunteer, you can contact Melissa at

Buy your tickets at the Greeley Recreation Center, Family FunPlex or by phone 970-350-9400. More information on the dance and the Greeley Recreation Center's adaptive activities here.
