Police in Greeley are looking for a driver who struck a bicyclist on August 19th at about 8:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of 4th Street. A large vehicle struck his bicycle from behind. He was thrown from the bicycle resulting in serious injuries. The driver left the scene without stopping.
The vehicle was described as a 2005 – 2007 Dodge pickup or Durango. The vehicle has lower right front end damage to the black air reflector located under the bumper. The vehicle has an after-market smoke-colored plastic lens covering the right headlight that was damaged.
