Greeley Couple Faces Charges for Fighting at Kids Baseball Game

A Greeley couple is facing charges after allegedly starting a fight Tuesday night at a kid’s baseball game. According to the Greeley Tribune,  police said James Dyer told officers he yelled at the opposing teams coach after the coach yelled at Dyer’s son. Witnesses reported Dyer’s wife saw a woman recording the incident on her phone, hit her in the head and took her phone.

James Dyer and wife Jammie Dyer, of Greeley, were each cited for misdemeanor charges. James faces a charge of disorderly conduct, and Jammie faces misdemeanor assault, disorderly conduct and theft charges related to the woman’s cell phone.The fight started after a game between 10-year-old teams at the Greeley Youth Sports Complex on 65th Avenue and 20th Street. 9 News has more.
