Great Plates is a great win-win-win-win-win situation.

In this case, the Food Bank for Larimer County wins because of the donation given to them by the Fort Collins Downtown Business Association, which, according to the Coloradoan, was in the amount of $53,501.

People who want to go out to eat win because they can enjoy reduced price meals at Fort Collins' best restaurants. As a person who has enjoyed incredible food during Great Plates, I can vouch for the value.

The restaurants win because they can expose themselves to new customers.

Downtown Fort Collins wins anytime crowds gather for anything in beautiful Old Town.

And everybody wins anytime they can simply go do something they enjoy that ends up giving a big fat check to a very worthy charity like the Food Bank for Larimer County.

Once again, Great Plates was a job well done.
