Great Picnic/Chill Spot on Poudre River That Not Many Know About [PHOTOS]

Just above Picnic Rock on the Poudre River west of Fort Collins, there is a spot that boasts occasional privacy, a great fishing spot, shelters with picnic tables, and the serenity that can come along with all of that.

It's a great place to hang out. I even find it a great place to write and revise!

Not too many people know about it. Even on weekends there may be open spots.

It is barely a mile west of Picnic Rock on Highway 14.

It is not maintained, so you must pack your stuff in and out.
