Get a Sneak Peek at ‘The Mainline,’ Fort Collins’ Newest Old Town Restaurant [VIDEO]

Ever since the Beach House in Old Town met an untimely end, I've been quick to share any details of the new business taking its place at 125 S. College Ave.  First, we found out it would be a joint venture between Wynkoop and Breckenridge Brewery.  Then, we had a name: The Mainline.  Now, we get to see inside the completely redesigned space!

The new bar and restaurant plans to open within the next week or so, and The Coloradoan got to take a tour and get some insight into what to expect.

(Mainline executive chef Eric Chiappetta) said contractors essentially gutted the space, flipped the bar to the south side of the main-floor dining room, renovated the kitchen and added a second kitchen on the second floor. The restaurant’s sign is up and uncovered on College Avenue, and prospective customers on Thursday stopped often to ask when opening day was.

When I watch the video below, and compare it to my memories of restaurants past, I'll admit I'm more excited than ever to see what The Mainline has to offer!
