A few months back, Gelazzi in Old Town Fort Collins closed their doors. Much to the dismay fans of their frozen concoctions and liquored-up desserts. But, according to their Facebook page Gelazzi gelato italiano café is back!

They'll be re-opening this Saturday and giving away fee gelato. (You know I'm a sucker for free eats!)

Here is what they posted to Facebook:

Gelazzi is Back. Gelazzi gelato italiano café is re-opening this Saturday April 27 th and we’ll be giving away free Gelato & Italian Ice from 11am to 5pm (unless we run out). Sample from over 40 flavors of gelato from the fresh authentic flavors found in Italy to fusion flavors of modern culinary tastes. Students bring your teachers, kids bring your parents, parents bring your friends & everyone try Gelazzi.

The frozen dessert market in Fort Collins is an interesting one, there are plenty of ice cream shops, a slew of frozen yogurt places, Culver's and Good times tout frozen custard, and Sammy Q's Gelatoland is just up the road from Gelazzi.
Did you miss Gelazzi while they were gone? Are you happy to have them back?
