Tomorrow, the body of U.S. Army Specialist Gabriel Conde will arrive at the airport in Loveland at 10 a.m. and a procession will travel south on I-25 to Highway 56 through Berthoud.  Residents there are asked to line Mountain Avenue in his honor. The Berthoud High School graduate died April 30th after he was hit by enemy small arms fire in the Tagab District of Afghanistan.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, you might consider a gift to the Gabriel David Conde Memorial Fund. Gabe’s Passion was to protect and provide for those who needed it. This fund will not only provide for his sister’s future but also support organizations that are actively rescuing children enslaved as child soldiers and in the sex slave industry. According to his obituary, Specialist Gabriel Conde's funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Life Bridge Christian Church in Longmont, CO. Burial will be on Monday afternoon, May 13, 2018, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
