Frozen Dead Guy Days is a crazy, quirky event-- mainly because of how literal it is. That's right, if you thought the name was based off of some crazy inside joke, you're wrong.

It's based off of an actual frozen dead guy, who is kept in a shed on the outskirts of town, preserved by dry ice. Yeah.

But it's not as gruesome as it sounds. The 'dead guy' in question is Grandpa Bredo Morstøl, who was kindly preserved by his grandson after his 1989 death. If you want to learn more about the festival itself, hit the link at the bottom of the blog or read about 2018's festivities right here.
