Fort Collins Unemployment Rate Drops

The Fort Collins-Loveland area is a great place to be, employment-wise.  In fact, the whole state of Colorado seems to be on an employment upswing.

The Coloradoan reports the unemployment rate in our area was down to 4.2 percent in June, as opposed to 4.3 percent in May.

The area’s rate is below the unemployment rate for the state of Colorado, which decreased to 5.4 percent in June. The state’s unemployment rate is down from 7.3 percent in June 2013. The U.S. unemployment rate is at 6.1 percent, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.

It’s nice to see, even though things are still tough out there sometimes, at least Colorado’s on the right track.
