The Mason Street construction project is moving right along, with intersection after intersection opening for use. The new roads and rails are so much better as you can see by the pictures.

Mason at Magnolia

I was tempted to bring in ropes, helmets and belayers when crossing these tracks in the past. Okay, that's hyperbole. However, it was bad enough that I'd worry about breaking a bike tire if I crossed it too fast.

The Mason Street improvement is part of a larger project designed to enhance the entire community, so after the rail project is complete and Mason reopens fully in mid-September, there will be other work done in other areas. Up to date information is available at the City's website.
