A woman in Fort Collins suffered one of the most frustrating things a motorist can go through, her car stalled in the middle of an intersection. Not that there seems to be a non-rush hour in Fort Collins anymore, but this happened at 8 a.m. on College Avenue. Talk about a busy traffic time to have your car stall in the intersection.

This morning wasn't a lesson in how bad things can be or the start of a 'I had the worst day!' story, in fact it turns out to be a story that restores ones faith in humanity.

As the woman began to consider her options the woman in the vehicle behind her got out and came to her aid and called 911. Soon afterwards a community officer was on hand to assist. Another motorist and a cyclist stepped in to help get the stalled vehicle off to a side road and out of traffic.

The woman who had stalled in the middle of the intersection was able to call for roadside assistance and even had many people offer to get her a coffee, a ride or whatever she may need while waiting for a tow truck.
