Fort Collins Police Crown VicYuck, yesterday Fort Collins police got a report that a man exposed himself to two teenage students walking home from school. It happened just after 3PM just west of Blevins Park. Read on for more details and let police know if you have any info that can help catch this sicko.

On September 23, 2013 at approximately 3:04 p.m., Fort Collins police were notified that a male suspect exposed himself to two teenage students walking home from school. The students were walking along the bike path directly west of Blevins Park (just south of the intersection of Stuart and Hampshire) when they observed a male suspect exposing himself to them.

The suspect is described as a white male, 18-25 years old, short dark brown hair, 6’ tall, heavy build, unshaven, wearing black sunglasses, a light gray baseball cap with red letters, black shirt with red letters across the front, gray baggy sweat pants and black shoes.

Parents are encouraged to talk with their children about how to deal with strangers if they are approached and the importance of reporting any incident to an adult and police immediately. Safety tips can be found at http://www.fcgov.com/police/pdf/childsafe.pdf.

I really can't understand what drives people to do strange and inappropriate things like this, especially to kids. I can hope for a best case scenario where some guy lost a drunken best to go flash someone in the park or something...While that might make it seem less disturbing, I doubt it would make it any less terrifying for those poor kids that were subjected to his naughty bits.

Let's hope this creep is off the streets very soon!
