Fort Collins' beer scene just keeps getting bigger and better. Last month we saw the cities 13th brewery, 1933, open it's doors. Now, if my math is correct, Fort Collins will soon see it's 14th brewery when Horse & Dragon Brewery opens up on May 1st.

Horse & Dragon Brewing Co., located at 124 Racquette Drive. in Fort Collins, will officially open it's doors May 1st from noon to 6 P.M., and will feature the work of former Odell Brewing Co. employee Linsey Cornish. She hopes to have five brews ready to go by opening day including Almost Summer Ale; a hoppier, American version of an English-style brew, Horse & Dragon Stout; a year-round staple for the brewery, and likely a pale ale, a red and a honey-brown.

If you can't wait a few weeks for the brewery to open, you can try out the first two brews I mentioned above starting today (April 17th) at The Mayor of Old Town.
