Bands. Beer. Bikes. Breweries. We love words that start with 'B' here in Fort Collins so it was only a matter of time until we saw a collaboration like Pateros Creek and Cohere Bandwidth.

Two lucky Northern Colorado Bands are getting their own brew from Pateros, and we don't mean their own glass -- we mean they get a beer named after them. Pretty cool (very Fort Collins).

Cohere Bandwidth, an Old Town practice and rehearsal space for musicians is partnering with the brewery to celebrate its member bands.

In a press release, Cohere Bandwidth owner Angel Kwiatkowski stated,

'Pateros Creek has been such a generous partner for us, and they are huge champions of our local music scene. When we started thinking about membership incentives for our bands, we approached them to see if they’d be willing to create a special, branded beer for our loyal member bands, and they were happy to oblige....

It’s truly a supportive, collaborative community, and we can’t wait to showcase that spirit at this event.'

Pateros Creek is also offering a root beer alternative for members of the music community under the age of 21.

The first two beer-branded bands, Chieftain and Wake Breakers, will be debuting Chieftain Bourbon Stout and Wake Breakers Even Float Root Beer (with Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream) with a concert on March 10 at the Downtown Artery.
