Fort Collins Healthy Sustainable Homes Needs Volunteers [AUDIO]
The Healthy Sustainable Homes Program with the city of Fort Collins helps people improve their health by taking care of any problems they may have in the place they spend the most time–their homes.
As it turns out, many of us may be living in a building that is emitting harmful air, and we don’t even know it. That’s where the program comes in. Volunteers help people identify if their homes could be causing harmful conditions to their health.
I spoke with Mary Pat Aardrup and Selina Lujan about the upcoming volunteer training and the results that people see when they have an assessment done to their homes. They are both excited to help people live healthier lives.
