Twelve Northern Colorado breweries have teamed up to raise money through August that would help Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity build a house for a family in need.

House that Beer Built

This is the second year the breweries have lent their support, and they are asking you to join up with them through August for The House That Beer Built II. The goal? To raise $100,000 to help Kevin and Kyla Beavers purchase the home and move in with their two children, Stella, 6, and Ramona, 2, when the home is finished this winter.

Not only have the breweries been raising money but they each also have a build day on the job site. The family will also put in 500 hours of sweat equity, where they will work on the construction site. After that is completed, they will be able to purchase the house with a zero-interest loan.

Breweries that are participating are Black Bottle Brewery, Coopersmith's Pub & Brewing, Fort Collins Brewery, Funkwerks, Horse and Dragon Brewing Co., Jessup Farm Barrel House, McClellan's Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co., Odell Brewing Co., Old Colorado Brewing Co., Pateros Creek Brewing and Three Four Beer Company.
