Fort Collins Family of Four Killed in Plane Crash in Colorado

A Fort Collins family of four died Friday when their private plane went down near Glenwood Springs. Jeff Makepeace, his wife Jennifer and their 10-year-old twins Addison and Benjamin were en route to Utah from the Fort CollinsLoveland Municipal Airport.

47-year-old Jeff was the owner of Lind’s Plumbing and Heating in Fort Collins, 45-year- old Jennifer was a stay-at-home mother. Addison and Benjamin were fourth-grade students at Bauder Elementary School in Fort Collins.

The family’s dog was also onboard the plane.
