After a hot summer and a surprisingly warm September, cooler air is finally headed our way; and it looks like we might feel it all at once as early as this weekend.

The Coloradoan reports that according to Don Day of DayWeather in Cheyenne, two cold fronts are coming our way in the coming week.  One will cause highs in the low 50's on Thursday, and the other will bring even colder temps for the weekend.

Snow is possible on Saturday, with highs in the 40s and a “season-ending” deep freeze that night, (Day) said.

If snow does fall here, temperatures could be colder.

So break out the sweaters and hot cocoa, and get ready to snuggle with your sweetheart by the fire!
