Let your mind, body and soul flourish at the Gardens On Spring Creek this summer, as they play host to a variety of fun-filled events throughout the upcoming months.

From recreational activities to educational workshops and even mini-festivals with food and music, be sure to mark your calendars and join in for these special events happening on the beautiful 18-acre property that includes over ten unique garden areas for guests to explore. In addition to tons of fresh and aromatic flowers, there are rock gardens, edible gardens and demonstration plots too. The Gardens on Spring Creek are located at 2145 Centre Avenue in Fort Collins.

    Yoga in the Gardens

    June 11, July 9, August 13 and September 10

    What could be more refreshing for your mind, body and soul than by starting off the morning with an energizing yoga session, while also taking in the sights and smells of blossoming flower gardens and the natural beauty of the Colorado outdoors? Being led by instructors from Miramont, the classes are suitable for yogis of all skill levels. They are scheduled for 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, July 9, August 13 and September 10. Check-in begins at 8 a.m., and walk-ins are welcome to attend. The cost is $10 per session. Bring your mat and water to the North Patio Lawn, and begin your day in a beautiful, botanical way.

    NoCo Urban Homestead Tour

    July 30

    Learn about living a self-sustainable lifestyle at this special fundraiser, happening from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on July 30, and benefiting Loveland Youth Gardeners. Tour goers will be treated to six tour stops, three homesteads in Fort Collins and three in Loveland; each featuring unique processes and attractions. With this, guests will learn firsthand how to incorporate sustainable practices into their daily lives, such as edible gardening and raising chickens. The cost to attend the tour is $15 per person and children 12 and under are free. Tickets are on sale now!

    ARTiculture Self-Guided Walking Tour

    Spring/Summer 2016

    All ages are welcome to attend this self-guided walking tour where unique sculptures are celebrated and displayed throughout the gardens. There are nine new installments this year, including the Wellness Globe, Gorgeous Gertie, and Good Morning Sunshine. The People’s Choice Award for favorite sculpture will be announced in August 2016.

    Garden a'Fare Wine Tour with Blue Skies Winery

    August 6; 5-8 p.m.

    Garden a’Fare is a 21+ culinary pairing event highlighting edible garden creations by local chefs. The first of two series will feature produce grown right on the property in the Garden of Eatin,’ used to create modern "progressive dinner" style courses, while being paired with four different wines from Blue Skies Winery. Guests also get to enjoy local music and a silent auction, while having the opportunity to mosey the beautiful botanic gardens. Those who participate in this event get a complimentary stemless wine glass to take home.     Garden a'Fare Beer Tour with Odell Brewing

    August 27; 5-8 p.m.

    The second of the Garden a'Fare events is again for those over the age of 21, and will feature sweet and savory tapas, paired with Odell brews. There will be a silent auction and live music to entertain guests throughout the evening.     Nature's Harvest Fest

    September 10; 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

    Bring the whole family out to this seasonal celebration, which will have live music, workshops, local artisans and food, nature walks, chile roasting and plenty more fun activities for the whole community to enjoy. There will also be a live butterfly release taking place.The event is free, but a $2/per person donation is appreciated.
