Flash Storm Leaves Hail Drifts, Palm Size Hail in Fort Collins

Weather warnings from the National Weather Service came in fast and furious between 10 and midnight last night.

At about 11:30, my part of Fort Collins (south central) was crushed by a blanketing storm of hail, rain, and wind.

I woke up to look outside only briefly, and noticed that hail was drifting into the corner of my patio.

Having a house with skylights intensifies such storms. There were a few scary moments for sure!

My poor pepper plant!
