Make plans to be Downtown on New Year’s Eve for First Night Fort Collins from 5:30-10:00 p.m. It's a non-alcoholic, family-oriented, arts-based celebration for the whole family.  There will be 75+ performances at 20+ venues throughout Downtown, including the Lincoln Center and the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. This year's event, produced by the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association, has the theme, “Follow the Magic”.

Enjoy dance, live theater and magic shows, comedy, music and singing, movies in the OtterBox Digital Dome Theater at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery.

On the Lincoln Center stage comes featured national act, “Top Hogs: Trick Pigs of the West.” These award-winning trained pigs will perform two shows. Performance troupes include:  Canyon Concert Ballet, Bas Bleu Theatre, Fale African Drum and Dance Collective, Debut Theatre, Spirit International and the Presto-Digitators.

In Old Town Square, interactive music shows, vocal ensembles, brass bands and a bagpipe band will fill the air and the kids will have plenty of room to run with balloon drops, a “bounceland” of giant inflatables, face painters and a Kids’ Countdown in the that blasts off at 5:30 pm.
