Fire Damages Apartment Building in Longmont

A large fire heavily damaged a five-unit apartment building in Longmont Thursday night. The fire was located in the 1300 block of S. Coffman St. and was reported at about 9:15 p.m. The back of the building fronts Main Street just north of Quebec Avenue.

Firefighters managed to get the fire under control around 10 p.m. There was no immediate indication of a cause. There have been no reports of injuries as a result of the fire.
