A Greeley man accused of taking his infant son from the baby’s mother and leaving the child with a stranger will be sentenced next week after pleading guilty to several charges yesterday.
Alvin Padilla was arrested July 30th. He was charged with violating a protection order, harassment and child abuse, all misdemeanors. He will be sentence on Monday. The baby was unharmed and returned to his mother.
When Padilla was arrested after the incident with his son, he was already facing one count of misdemeanor assault, charged with slapping the baby’s mother. He pleaded guilty in that case to third-degree assault and will be also sentenced in that case on Monday.
