My parent's were great at making Saint Patrick's Day a holiday even my little sister and I could enjoy.  So it got me thinking: Where can families go to celebrate Saint Paddy's this year, away from all the obnoxious drunk people?

    Lucky Joe's St. Patrick's Day Parade

    Cost: FREE

    The St. Patrick's Day Parade is a Fort Collins family tradition.  Starting at 10am, the parade will run North on Walnut Street, South on College Ave. to Magnolia, then North along Remington, ending at Mountain Ave.

    Sharin' O' the Green 5k

    Cost: $25-$35

    This 5K run/walk, presented by Partners Mentoring Youth, is open to all ages, and even includes a "shamrock scurry" for the kids!  Race day registration starts at 7am, with the shamrock scurry starting at 8:15, and the 5K kicking off at 8:30. After the race, adults 21 and over get a free beer from O'Dell Brewing Company.
