Family Man Dies in Farm Accident in Northern Colorado
A tragic farm accident claimed the life of 35-year-old Victor Rene Cante Reynoso Friday. He was untarping a silage pile near Platteville when it collapsed on him.The cause of death will be released with the autopsy report, but Weld County Coroner Carl Blesch said, “There is no indication that his death is anything other than a tragic industrial accident.”
Reynoso’s close friends have created a memorial fund to help pay his final expenses and help his family with the loss.
The Go Fund Me page, which has a goal of $10,000, described Cante Reynoso as a loving father. Click the following link to donate: https://www.gofundme.com/memorial-for-rene-cantereynoso
“He is leaving behind a loving and caring family, having been a wonderful husband to Irene and an amazing father to son Victor,” the page reads.
Friday morning, Reynoso was working on top of a corn silage pile at Twin View Farm northwest of Platteville. After removing the tarp that covered it, he climbed down and the silage pile collapsed on top of him.
Weld County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the accident around 9 Friday morning and found Reynoso unconscious. Emergency responders administered CPR and got his heart beating again, but he died later that morning.
