In an effort to help get missing children home safe and sound, it only makes sense that Amber Alerts will be soon spread through one of the largest social media platforms.

As KDVR reported, you will start to see Amber Alerts on your Facebook news feed if the alert happens in your area.

As you may or may not know, Amber Alerts are in response to missing children, providing essential information about missing children, including photographs.

Before, you couldn't share the alerts, now with Facebook you have the ability to share Amber Alerts with friends and family, greatly increasing the number of people aware about the search.
