Additional Information
Join Bob Michael from 7-8 p.m. on September 9 at the Fort Collins Old Town Library, for a visit to Antarctica. He will revisit many of the spectacular places at the bottom of the world, which saw Sir Ernest Shackleton's heroic and successful attempt to save the lives of his stranded crew a century ago -- arguably the greatest story of survival, endurance, and true grit ever told.
Bob Michael is a consulting petroleum geologist in Fort Collins. He has always had a fascination for extreme, end-of-the-earth places.
