Additional Information

Join us from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Global Museum of Arts and Cultures for “Easing the Load.” Sophia Esch will use songs, imagery, and Pancho Villa, along with firearms in Mexican revolution,  for an entertaining hour of discussion.

This is an informative and engaging look behind the scenes where Angie Gebhart delivers care and compassion to the beasts of burden she serves. She was a participant in the very first Equitarian Workshop held in Veracruz, Mexico, where her knowledge of Spanish (interpretation), her equine skills, and her work as an educator helped provide care and instruction for rural working animals and their owners.

A veterinary student and past Spanish teacher, Angela regularly travels to Mexico and Central and South America to provide veterinary assistance to working horses, donkeys, and mules.
