On November 15 at 2 p.m. bring your kids to the Global Village Museum for “Numbers in November.” This is a youth program featuring story time, snacks, and a fun activity. Admission is $3 and includes craft materials, snack, and entrance into the four galleries.
“Just a Minute!: A Trickster Tale and Counting Book” is a spirited tribute to the rich traditions of Mexican culture and is the perfect introduction to counting in both English and Spanish. The vivacious illustrations and universal depiction of a family celebration are sure to be adored by young readers. The craft activity is creating a Toma Todo which is a Mexican game of chance. We will make our own Toma Todo pencil tops or topas and then play to see who is the luckiest!
