If you haven't had the chance to make it out thus far, make sure you make it out for the last day of the “Women of the World” Hall Exhibit at the Global Village Museum on September 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. “Women of the World” is an exhibition of paintings by Rebekah Merlino, a US Army veteran who served in Afghanistan. She wanted to represent “women and their cultures in modern times from all over the world. Every detail of Rebekah Merlino’s figurative paintings is carefully chosen, utilizing symbolism from art history and everyday icons that are easily recognized and understood. It truly is a can't miss exhibit.
