Nothing says summer in Colorado like perfectly chilled craft beer and a plate of meat! Join in on June 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., as locals will flock to Lafayette’s Atlas Valley to enjoy the finer things in life in Colorado: beer and barbecue.
The 4th Annual Boulder County BrewBQ, formerly known as the Lafayette Craft Brew & BBQ Festival, is a festival and fundraiser that will bring together more than 25 breweries and around 10 barbecue restaurants, caterers and professionals for a day of competition and consumption. Napkins will be provided. Entrance fees are $30 for beer and barbecue/$15 for barbecue only and tickets can be purchased at ymcabv.org/brewbq.
Festival-goers will have an opportunity to sample beers from dozens of breweries; five barbecue tasting samples will be provided to attendees and additional samples will be available for $1 each. There will be music, kids activities, vendors and prize drawings. The event will also include competitions for professional barbecue, amateur barbecue and amateur brewers.
All event proceeds benefit the YMCA of Boulder Valley’s scholarship fund and Boulder Rotary Club, serving humanity in local and international service projects.
